Another Love Triangle

The second most famous love triangle is that of King Mark, Tristan, and Iseult. But having more than one love triangle in a debut novel is far too many to manage, but I couldn't let this story pass without a telling. I altered the dynamic drastically in 'Fall to Earth' from a love triangle to a struggle for a woman against her father, her own desires, and her identity. Isolde Marks also evolved from a distillation of a common new writer problem: too many characters. What began as a background character bedrock for later novels became someone who has an impact throughout the entire series. Will her story be the same tragic tale?
